Skincare brand, NIVEA, as part of its ‘CARE BEYOND SKIN’ initiative, is launching its 2025 fundraising campaign in support of long-term partner and cancer-support charity, Look Good Feel Better (LGFB).
LGFB, run by The Cancer Patients Foundation, provides free non-medical support to people undergoing cancer treatment across Australia. Through in-person and virtual workshops, the charity offers guidance on skincare, makeup, hair loss, nutrition, mental wellbeing and more, helping patients regain confidence during a difficult time.
From May 1st to June 30th, NIVEA will donate 10 cents from every product sold at Chemist Warehouse, Coles, and Woolworths, aiming to raise $150,000. The funds will help support 150 workshops for 1,500 cancer patients nationwide, including those in regional areas.
“Look Good Feel Better empowers people with cancer to feel more like themselves again,” said Beiersdorf Australia and New Zealand managing director, Clynton Bartholomeusz. “We’re proud to continue our two-decade partnership and use our platform to support this important work.”
Around seven million people live in regional and remote areas and the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare estimates that Australians living in regional areas of Australia are 1.3 times more likely to die from cancer and have poorer access to health care services than those living in major cities.
“We support over 10,000 patients each year, and partnerships like this make that possible. With NIVEA’s help, we can reach more people with care, confidence and connection,” added LGFB general manager, Carol Kavurma.”
Through their ongoing partnership, NIVEA and LGFB aim to mobilise Australians to support the campaign recognising that many lives have been touched by cancer. Every purchase can help make a difference.
