NZ: Trilogy achieves NATRUE certification

Skincare brand has achieved New Zealand’s first natural cosmetics certification, complying with the internationally recognised NATRUE standard. Prior to NATRUE, New Zealand lacked a natural cosmetic certification standard, making it difficult for consumers to distinguish exactly what products were natural.

In a statement released yesterday, Trilogy explains that is has always been committed to its own rigorous standards, and the decision to apply for NATRUE certification was a natural extension of that commitment.

BioGro New Zealand, the country’s leading organic certifier, is Australasia’s first NATRUE-accredited certification body. The industry body has already worked with Trilogy in awarding the brand’s Rosehip Oil products organic certification.

Corinne Morley, Trilogy’s global sales and marketing manager, says she is pleased with the assurance the certification offers. There is a lot of confusion out there about what ‘natural’ really means in regards to skincare. We are delighted to be able to offer our customers an independent guarantee that Trilogy products are authentically natural and cruelty-free, thereby helping them to make informed decision about their skincare products.”
