David Babaii for Wildaid Bohemian Beach Spray

The nature of my hair is very hippy-surfie chick, and my whole life I’ve been envious of those girls with the super-sleek city slicker locks. It wasn’t until a hairdresser commented that he loved the unstructured” feel of my hair at a recent launch at Prema Hair that I decided to embrace my random curls and waves. He revealed that I should either be putting in a beach spray or hair dust to add texture and grit every time I washed my hair to give it more of that beachy carefree look. Having neither of these products, I went hunting in the bd cupboards till I came across the David Babaii for Wildaid Bohemian Beach Spray. I’ve been spraying it into my hair dry to create extra volume and texture and love the results! This is a great product for giving hair a little somethin’ somethin’ before heading out to events. - Yelena

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Natural Bronze Gradual Tanning Moisturiser

Tan and I are chalk and cheese. Most times when I wear it, I can’t stand the smell of it, have odd patches of brown and spots that I’ve missed. I’m never the first to put my hand up when a tanning product comes in, but when Palmer’s sent in their Pink Ribbon products for 2012 and one of the girls in the office mentioned how much she loved the Palmer’s Natural Bronze Gradual Tanning Moisturiser, so I thought I would give it a try. Firstly, I loved the ease of using the product. I preferred the pump bottle to a tube because I find it easier to use. The fragrance was the same as all the other Palmer’s products - a lovely coconut scent, and the formula spread and absorbed easily. Another thing I noticed is that once dry, it didn’t smell on my skin nor did it stain my sheets! After two uses, I already felt like I had enough colour. The depth of the colour was beautiful and it wasn’t at all nearing an orange tone – it looked natural, plus my skin felt soft and very moisturised. I would definitely use this product again and again. - Liz

Kosmea Skin Clinic Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil

Rosehip oil is my new beauty favourite and has been for a good six months now. I am an absolute convert for it - I love the way it absorbs, makes your skin feel plump and hydrated and the fact that it has so many benefits. So I was really excited after a recent Kosmea launch when I had the chance to try a new Rosehip oil, especially one by Kosmea as they pick the best part of the bud to include in the oil. Unlike other rosehip oils I have tried, I was instantly taken aback when I opened this one - most are yellow in colour, but the Kosmea oil is a deep rose colour. The consistency is a thick fluid compared to others that have a thinner formula. As soon as you open the bottle you can smell the rich, genuine rose fragrance. On application it absorbs instantly and leaves your skin feeling radiant and hydrated. My skin feels healthy when I’m wearing it and I love that I can layer it with my treatment products. Even though I have normal to oily skin, it never leaves my skin with a shiny finish and I prefer the Kosmea Rosehip oils to other ones I have tried so far. – Liz

After recently getting engaged (woo hoo!), I decided to treat myself with a manicure in order to show off my ring to its full sparkle. I had heard a lot about Bio Sculpture gel and was really keen to try it on my weak nails. The process took a little longer than a normal polish, but was well worth the wait. The finish is flawless and doesn’t smudge or fade. The colour won’t need to be infilled until the nail has grown out after approximately three weeks. However, if you feel like a change in that time, you can just polish a regular colour over the top of your gel. When you remove the polish, your original gel colour will still be intact underneath. I am going to stick with Bio Sculpture as the gel is helping to strengthen and protect my natural nail. - Bree

MeMeMe Boho Balm

The packaging of this lip and cheek tint won me over as soon as I saw it. The round tin has a pretty vintage feel due to its wash of muted tones. This however is in stark contrast to vibrant balms inside. There’s a bright pink that I love to put on my cheeks to give them a flush of colour, while the deep coral balm is great on my lips. The balms are richly pigmented so you really only need the lightest dab to get a suitable amount of colour. Given how far the balm goes, and not forgetting the convenience of having a two-in-one palette for lip and cheeks - I suspect this tin will last throughout spring and summer, which is the perfect time of year to be wearing these gorgeous tones.  – Michelle
