World-renowned plastic surgeon and founder of , Dr Des Fernandes, has won an award for innovation for his research of scientifically researched skin products.
Dr Fernandes has been recognised for exceptional performance, leadership potential and product innovation with Environ, and will officially be awarded the INNOCOS 2016 Innovation Leader of the Year award in the product category during June 9-10th in Vienna.
"As a practicing cosmetic surgeon, Dr Des Fernandes clearly has an in-depth knowledge of human skin and associated cosmetic challenges. His Step Up approach used in salons by skin care experts shows great innovation combining medical knowledge with cosmetic formulation and close customer input. His broadened activities with other vitamins and their derivatives will bring further benefits to the consumer,” said the event judges.
Dr Fernandes’ research has enabled the brand to show the potential of scientifically researched ingredients. Environ’s products aim to deliver intensive treatment for problematic skin, scarring, pigmentation, rosacea, fine lines, skin laxity, sun damage and photoageing.
