Okay, I might be late to the party, but I have been itching to try the La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5+ Balm Cream and finally it landed across my desk. This French pharmacy favourite is a cult classic, and now I can see why. The repairing balm has a thick consistency that blends into skin seamlessly, leaving my complexion ultra-hydrated. Whether I go in with makeup next (it doesn't create any pilling FYI), or leave my skin as-is, I have loved the finish this balm gives me – glowy, hydrated and plump skin! Hawaiian Tropic® Silk Hydration Sunscreen Lotion – Issy's pick
This is one of my favourite sunscreens of all time! The product name says it all – it's literally silk! I am very picky when it comes to sunscreen as there is nothing worse than a sticky residue left on the skin after application, along with having to put your clothes over the top. The formula is non-greasy and often feels like you're applying a moisturiser. It is also 50+ and provides 12-hour protection, which is reassuring in the Aussie sun. I recently started using the Eau Thermale Avène Vitamin Activ Cg Radiance Intensive Cream and have been genuinely impressed with the results. My skin tends to be very dry, especially in the mornings, but this cream has made a noticeable difference. It has a lightweight, smooth texture that absorbs easily and doesn’t leave behind any greasy residue. I also love that it’s formulated with Vitamin Cg, so I know I’m applying something effective and brightening to my skin. It’s also very gentle and hasn’t caused any irritation or breakouts, which is a huge plus for my sensitive skin. I’ve been using it both morning and night, and it layers beautifully under makeup.
