Dermalogica has dropped its recommended retail prices by an average of 23 per cent across its entire range. The price drop aims to encourage consumers to buy products from the brand’s authorised skin centres and websites, as grey market sites such as strawberry.net have been selling Dermalogica product.
Many people have been purchasing their product at a cheaper price through unauthorised websites, and in doing so are taking a huge risk. In some cases, the product is old or been tampered with, reducing its effectiveness and posing health risks,” says Skin Health Experts (S.H.E) managing director Natasha Gee.
By purchasing from authorised stockists, not only do consumers receive safe product and expert advice from professionals, but also support local businesses. A website can’t identify skin concerns or help address these like a professional can.”
