Lancôme has added another face to its plethora of celebrity brand ambassadors, announcing French it-girl Caroline de Maigret as the latest to join the skincare brand’s ranks.
Following in the footsteps of Lupita Nyong'o, Julia Roberts, Penelope Cruz and Kate Winslet, de Maigret will be collaborating with the brand to develop an original make-up collection for Autumn 2015.
The 39-year-old is a former model and a Parisian fashion icon, and is releasing a book in the US in September named How to Be Parisian Wherever You Are: Love, Style, and Bad Habits that will be supported by Lancôme.
"I am delighted by this collaboration, which is unlike any other and which truly reflects Lancôme," says de Maigret. "It's the beginning of a lovely adventure with this brand that I love so much. A brand that offers a different vision of femininity: one that is free, intelligent and that touches both the heart and mind."
Lancôme international general manager Françoise Lehmann adds, "Caroline has this very French form of curiosity and creativity that can be applied with an open mind to extremely varied fields, from art to music, from beauty to fashion.”
