Dr. Bronner's Fairtrade Fair Trade Organic Castile Liquid Soap - Peppermint
Are you already a fan of Dr Bronner’s? If your answer is no, then I have a sneaking suspicion that’s about to change! The eco-friendly range of organic bodycare is renowned for its liquid castile soaps, which have endless uses (think shampoo, shaving cream, deodorant, laundry detergent, and the list goes on). This week, I trialled the limited-edition Peppermint Organic Liquid Soap. It not only makes you feel squeaky clean, but it’s gentle on sensitive skin, smells amazing and is comfortingly organic. Buy it, use it in one of its 1,000,000 (and counting) ways, and thank me later. - Sarah
nak AROMAS smooth shampoo & conditioner
If I could kiss summer, I would! I love - no, thrive off - the heat, but my hair isn’t too happy with it at all. A combination of hours in the sun, heat-styling for parties and whipping my hair back and forth has left it looking a little bedraggled. Enter the new nak Aromas range, a moisture-rich conditioner that makes my not-so-luscious locks feel restored, fresh and smelling like a delicious array of yummy oils. I’ve been using the Shampoo & Conditioner a few times a week and have already noticed an improvement in my hair’s texture. No more straw-like strands! Now come back to bed, summer, we still have a bit of time left. - Kelly
Fuente Kite Surf
I’ve recently moved a bit further away from work, which means I need to get ready much more quickly. I used to enjoy spending 20 minutes on my hair, but now I’d rather get the extra shut-eye. I’ve never really used styling sprays before, but when the new Fuente Kite Surf landed on my desk I thought I’d give it a go. And I’m glad I did! It’s now my second favourite thing in the morning (after coffee, obviously) and I love how easy it makes styling my hair. Instead of spending precious time blow-drying and straightening my hair, I simply spritz in wet hair and it creates these gorgeous beachy waves I’ve never been able to pull off before! On days I feel like wearing my hair up, I simply pull it into a low bun before smoothing a little product over it to get rid of frizz and flyaways. - Jocelyn
Nutrimetics DD Creme & Corrector
Just when you thought the alphabet craze was slowing down, along comes the DD trend - Daily Defense. And when it comes to letters, the double D definitely has to be one of my favourites (and no, I’m not talking about breasts!). The Nutrimetics DD Creme & Corrector has come up trumps thanks to its multiple functions. As well as providing buildable coverage to cover dark circles, spots and imperfections, it is formulated with Advanced Luminous Technology to hydrate, minimise imperfections, and even out skin tone. It also works to help regenerate the skin and comes with a concealing corrector to cover any of those nasty pimples and dark circles that seem to crop up when they’re least welcome. Genius. - Yelena
Abeeco Revitalising Eye Serum & Skin Perfecting Serum
These products have been my go-to skin oils this summer, and there are plenty of reasons why! Firstly, the Abeeco Skin Perfecting Serum uses 100 per cent pure essential oils to hydrate dry and sun-damaged skin (a must for a beach-bunny like me!). The coolest part is that the bee venom tricks the skin into thinking it has been lightly stung, which in turn stimulates the production of collagen and elastin - and voila! You end up with an instantly more youthful appearance. As for the Revitalising Eye Serum, it targets signs of ageing around the eye area with ingredients such as vitamin E and a blend of avocado, rosehip, evening primrose, jojoba, macadamia, echium and argan oils. I love how smooth and hydrated this leaves my eye-area - make-up goes on like a dream and my undereye concealer is never dry or flaky-looking. – Whitney
