Aussie skincare brand scores international award

Touted as the largest independent thoroughly-judged beauty awards in the UK, the Beauty Shortlist Awards have announced their line-up of winners for 2016 – with Australian skincare brand Kosmea taking out the category for Best Baby Rescue/Calming Balm for Irritated Skin.

Tying with Green People for the award, it was Kosmea's efficacious Rescue Balm that had judges sitting up and taking notice.

The Beauty Shortlist is the UK's number one award-winning natural beauty blog – with the site flying the flag for “clean beauty”. The website's awards are in their fourth year, with this year seeing entries up by nearly 150 per cent on last.

"We do not run 'vote' awards, we prefer an expert judging panel and insist upon thorough testing – e.g. 28 days for skincare, repeat testing for shampoos, etc. So when a product wins, it really has been put through its paces by 10 completely independent judges who do not communicate with each other," reveals a site representer.
