Think you’d be able to guess the hottest brands for 2018? Well Lyst Index have dropped their quarterly rankings of the most popular fashion brands and products for quarter three, so let’s see who made the cut.
Lyst analyses the online shopping behaviour of more than five million shoppers a month searching, browsing and buying fashion across 12,000 designers and stores online.
The formula behind the Index takes into account global Lyst and Google search data, conversion rates and sales, as well as brand and product social media mentions and engagement statistics worldwide over a three month period.
For the first time, this report now factors in rich social media metrics, from brand follower growth to multi-platform product mentions and sentiment analysis.
Who took out top spot we hear you asking? Over the last year, cult streetwear label, Off-White, has jumped up 33 places, marking its first time topping the list.
Lyst analysts attribute part of the massive growth to the brand’s collaborations with Nike that have generated a lot of hype around the brand. Additionally, the brand’s logo belt and denim jacket sit and second and sixth on the women’s hottest products list.
Following Off-White is Gucci, Balenciaga, Nike, Prada, Versace, Yeezy, Vetements, Fendi and Valentino rounding out the top 10.
