Former tennis world number one and Banana Boat ambassador, Ash Barty is the face of the refreshed Banana Boat Sun Safe School Program, continuing her partnership with the brand since 2020.
This initiative aims to educate children about sun safety, reinforcing the vital role schools play in teaching students lifelong sun protection habits.
The program offers free, curriculum-aligned, downloadable resources for primary school teachers, designed to be engaging and interactive for students from Foundation to Year 1. These materials empower children with the knowledge to make informed decisions about sun protection.
The educational resources include a special message from the Australian tennis star, inspiring kids to practice sun safety year-round.
Additionally, each resource pack features a copy of Little Ash, one of Barty’s children's books, which explores themes of school, sport, friendship, and family.
"From a young age, I was always outside playing sports and exploring with my sisters. Living in Queensland, I learned about sun safety early, and those lessons stuck with me throughout my tennis career," said Barty.

Alongside the Sun Safe School Program, Banana Boat has launched a new Moisturising Sunscreen range, suitable for both face and body. The lineup includes:
