About the role:
This is a 12-month maximum term role
Are you a sharp storyteller with a passion for women’s fashion, beauty and culture? ELLE is seeking a digital-savvy Senior Content Producer to craft compelling, premium content that informs, inspires and drives the conversation for elle.com.au. You’ll ideate and create stories that cut through, optimise them for digital platforms, and work closely with our powerhouse editorial team to grow our iconic brand's online presence. If you're obsessed with what's now and what's next and have the writing, editing and digital know-how to match, this is your dream job!
This role is suited to a confident and driven journalist and passionate writer with at least four years of experience in digital media and a broad interest in culture, fashion, beauty and emerging trends. The candidate will need to have demonstrated experience working to ambitious audience targets and a determination to succeed.
They will have a confident understanding of SEO and GEO best practices with an ability to pivot and continue learning about emerging audience and content production trends, and be able to innovate and work with the digital editor, omnichannel editor, affiliate and audience teams to hit targets.
Duties:
- Develop and produce high-quality content, including articles, videos, and multimedia assets.
- Collaborate with editors and writers to ensure content meets editorial standards.
- Identify content opportunities and generate ideas aligned with the brand's strategy.
- Analyse audience data and trends to create resonating content.
- Promote and distribute content across various channels, including social media platforms.
Skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in content creation and production roles.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in multimedia content creation tools and platforms.
- Strong understanding of SEO and GEO, content marketing, and audience engagement strategies.
- Sophisticated understanding of the luxury space with a demonstrated interest in (and passion for) fashion and beauty.
- Experience on camera and in junkets favourable.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
