Nominees named for this year's TikTok Awards

The TikTok Awards is returning for 2025 bigger, bolder, and better than ever before, with a new venue, new host, new streaming partner, and fourteen awards celebrating Australia's best creators.

Australian entertainment royalty, Sophie Monk will take the hosting reins on November 26th, for a night of performances, special guests, and TikTok trends that defined culture in 2025.

"I feel like the coolest person in the world that TikTok have asked me to host their awards for 2025 in Sydney," said Monk.

"I can’t wait to be surrounded by thousands of the amazing Australian creators and hopefully try and steal a couple of their followers."

For the first time, ICC Sydney Theatre, one of the world's best live entertainment venues, will be home to the event. With an expected audience of more than 4,000 creators, this year’s TikTok Awards will be the biggest creator celebration ever held in Australia.

In another first, the awards will stream live on Stan, as well as TikTok LIVE, and replays on 9Go!

"At Stan, we’re committed to celebrating entertainment in all its formats – from long-form global hits to short-form cultural moments that capture audiences everywhere," said Stan acting marketing director, Michelle Chandran.

"TikTok has become one of the most powerful ways to connect with our fans, and the TikTok Awards are set to be a night bursting with energy, creativity and culture, and we can’t wait to share it with audiences everywhere."

Now in its fifth year, the TikTok Awards shine a spotlight on the creators who entertained, educated, and inspired Australians, with fourteen awards set to celebrate every corner of the diverse TikTok community.

A new award celebrating Entertainment Creator of the Year Award will debut alongside flagship categories such as Video of the Year presented by Tinder.

"The awards are a chance to celebrate the creativity, talent, and amazing community that makes TikTok so special," said TikTok Australia and New Zealand head of content, Simon Bates.

"It's a night for our creators and the fans who love and support them. Last year, a staggering 3.4 million votes were cast for the nominees – we're hoping to smash that record this year."
