Australia's first ever beauty runway for charity has been announced

Priceline Pharmacy is set to host Australia's first beauty runway for charity, featuring a lineup of inspirational women. The runway has been created to raise funds for the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation at the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival, of which Priceline Pharmacy is the official hair and beauty partner. 

Taking place Wednesday March 11, the Sisterhood Beauty Runway will showcase this season’s hottest hair and makeup trends by Priceline hair and makeup director, Sarah Laidlaw, and Australian fashion designer, Effie Kats is designing outfits.

The show will also come alive with a diverse group of inspirational women including Patron of the Sisterhood Foundation, Ita Buttrose, Chrissie Swan, Tanya Hennessy, Olivia Rogers and Flex Mami. Other confirmed participants include, Poh Ling Yeow, Tully Lou, Brooke Meredith, Sarah Davidson, Karen From Finance, Keira Rumble and Izzy Huntington. 

"Our Beauty Runway has one purpose: to celebrate the uniqueness of all Aussie women! The Runway promises to challenge traditional catwalk stereotypes by featuring inspirational - yet real women - in all their diverse glory. We’re asking all Aussies to celebrate their individuality and most importantly, have a bloody good time while they do," said Priceline Pharmacy head of marketing, Sophie Smith.

Fifty per cent of all ticket sales will go to the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation which raises money for five charities that support women and their families. 

The Priceline Sisterhood Beauty Runway will take place at the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne. Guests will also be treated to a gift bag worth $150 thanks to the generous donation of key Priceline Pharmacy brands.
