Eight new beauty stores open in time for NYFW

A number of new beauty stores have opened just in time for New York Fashion Week. Here are the eight ones taking New York by storm:

Atelier Beauté Chanel
At Atelier Beauté Chanel, shoppers are taken through the entire beauty experience – from face wash to fragrance. They can build online profiles to document their preferences, likes, dislikes, shade matches and more. The store also features a fragrance room, which allows blind testing by fragrance family.

Blume
Known for its skincare and period products, Blume has recently launched a self-care pop-up store. Running from February 4 to 17, it boasts different activities on different days – from skincare, makeup freebies and bra fittings to sex toys.

Clinique
Supporting the launch of its customisable moisturiser, Clinique has established a series of Clinique iD pop-ups. Shoppers are encouraged to visit the diagnosis bar to receive their iD prescription and then assemble their own moisturiser based on the results.

Dirty Lemon Rose Room
Dirty Lemon is opening a pop-up flower market exclusively on Valentine’s Day. Housed on New York’s Lower East Side, the Rose Room will sell candy, rose bundles by PlantShed and custom Valentine’s Day Cards by Arianna Margulis.

D.S. & Durga
Indie fragrance brand, D.S. & Durga, launched a flagship location that showcases brutalist architecture and punk rock references. Customers even receive tunes with their tinctures, as each scent comes with a Spotify playlist.

Nest
The candle and fragrance brand has opened its first store, which features wall coverings that resonate with the brand’s floral aesthetics. As well as selling candles, fragrances and body care, the new store also hosts events.

Pat McGrath x Bergdorfs
British makeup artist, Pat McGrath is bringing beauty to the Bergdorf’s first floor. Traditionally located at basement level, McGrath’s namesake line has opened a 37 square metre space in-shop.

Showfields
Showfields, which markets itself as ‘the most interesting store in the world’ and ‘a revolutionary retail concept’ has created a beauty, wellness and shopping experience. The new shop has different setups for brands, such as body care line Frank Body, personalised shampoo brand Function of Beauty, and snacks by brand Thrills by Chloe.
