Filming for the iconic runway event has come to a close and all that’s left to do is analyse the angels’ beauty looks. With Charlotte Tilbury as makeup artist for Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2018, she created a fresh, naturally flawless look tailored to suit the models’ individual beauty. Read on for BD’s guide to the hair and makeup backstage.
Fresh, glowy skin
Iconic Victoria Secret Angel, Gisele Bundchen was Charlotte Tilbury’s key source of inspiration for the models’ fresh and glowing look. With Gisele in mind, Tilbury created a radiant yet absolutely flawless complexion using a combination of skincare and makeup.

Metallic rose gold eyeshadow
Tilbury bypassed shimmery highlighter on the face for a metallic rose gold eyeshadow to brighten up the eyes. A wash of subtle pink complemented the models’ rosy cheeks.

Tousled waves
The models sported classic bombshell waves which were kept as natural and undone as possible. Celebrity hairstylist Anthony Turner prepped damp hair with volumizing mousse and serum oil before blowdrying without hairbrushes.
