Make-up’s leading lady eyes off her own venture

Pat McGrath is a living legend in the cosmetic industry. Not only has the make-up maestro been named by VOGUE as the “most influential make-up artist”, but she has been awarded an MBE from the Queen for her efforts in shaping (if not creating) the runway trends of each and every international fashion week.

The British make-up artist has now launched her first product, Gold 001. The product - a honey-hued pigment that can be used on eyes, lips and skin - has a limited-edition run of 1,000 and will be available on McGrath’s recently unveiled website.

The product made its debut on the catwalk of the Prada Spring 2016 show in Milan, as well as at a recent photoshoot with Kim Kardashian. But Gold 001 was officially launched by VOGUE in Paris yesterday at the iconic Jardins des Tuileries, with McGrath incorporating the product into makeovers offered to both her friends in the fashion set and members of the public.
