Victoria Beckham announces beauty brand

After two successful limited-edition collaborations with Estée Lauder, Victoria Beckham has announced her own beauty brand will be launching later this year.

The former Spice Girl took to social media to confirm the news.

"Overwhelmed by your responses to #VBBeauty," said Beckham.

"For all your asking, #VBBeauty will be cruelty-free, inclusive for all skin tones and available at an accessible luxury price-point."

Victoria Beckham Beauty will launch as a pure digital native brand for autumn/winter 2019, and will be sold through victoriabeckham.com.

Based in New York, the brand will be headed by the cofounder and chief executive officer Sarah Creal, who has 25 years experience in the beauty industry. Creal has worked with companies such as Prada, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and most recently Estée Lauder, as head of global makeup development and marketing.

Beckham plans to mark the launch of the brand with a party during London Fashion Week.
