Finalists for the Publishers Australia Excellence Awards were announced yesterday, with the annual awards recognising the best in print and digital publishing. This year saw more than 250 entries submitted, and an expert panel of judges from the publishing industry are now analysing the entries.
Bauer Media had the highest number of entries on the shortlist, scoring 19 appearances. It was followed by NewsLifeMedia with 12, Pacific Magazines on 11, Sterling Publishing with nine, and Hardie Grant Media, Alt.Control Media and CMMA Digital & Print all received five. The Pharmaceutical Society of Australia and Westwick-Farrow Media each got four nominations.
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner at Sydney’s Dolton House Darling Island Wharf on November 20.
