Coty Prestige has announced that Georgia May Jagger has signed on to be the face of the new Just Cavalli Woman fragrance, to be released early next year.
Jagger, the daughter of Rolling Stones lead singer Mick Jagger and supermodel Jerry Hall, has been modelling since the age of 16 and recently starred in the fashion set for the closing ceremony of the London Olympic Games.
Roberto Cavalli is a great designer,” Jagger said in a statement. The Just Cavalli brand is very sexy, young and cool. Each collection is very contemporary and colourful; it is clearly for the younger generation who wants to have a trendy look. It is the first fragrance that I have ever done so it is a huge honour!”
Roberto Cavalli himself has also sung Jagger’s praises. Georgia is the perfect choice to incarnate Just Cavalli. She is a playful temptress,” the designer says.
Jagger has agreed to a worldwide print and TV ad campaign, shot by Mario Sorrenti and Jonas Akerlund respectively.
