Zooey Deschanel teams up with Pantene in Oz and NZ

Almost as famous for her blunt bangs as she is for her acting talent, New Girl actress Zooey Deschanel has signed on as the new ambassador for Pantene Pro-V in Australia and New Zealand.

Deschanel will be joining beauty expert Zoë Foster-Blake and hairstylist Barney Martin in encouraging women across the country to donate their hair as part of the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program.

Over 4500 ponytails have been donated to the Beautiful Lengths program since it launched in September 2012, with Look Good...Feel Better currently distributing the wigs to cancer patients throughout Australia and New Zealand. To help support the program, Pantene has also launched the Pantene Beautiful Lengths Collection that provides strength to hair that is weak, brittle, and damage-prone.
