While Instagram has traditionally been the platform of choice for beauty brands, it seems Facebook is not far behind with P&G choosing to partner with the site for its latest campaign. The company’s Clairol Nice ‘N Easy brand has joined forces with Facebook’s creative experts for a three-part video series.
The Australian campaign marks the first of its kind for P&G worldwide thanks to its integration and sole execution through Facebook. The video successfully embraces humour in its selling technique, while exploring Australian insight into consumer behaviour and the emotional connection many feel to discovering grey hair. The campaign personifies this fear in the comedic arrival of one street’s new neighbours The Greys.
