In an exciting milestone for the brand, Kérastase hosted its first Australian Power Talks event in partnership with the National Gallery of Victoria.
Kérastase Power Talks is a mentorship platform that was launched in 2023 to address the confidence gap women experience at career-defining moments. The event celebrates female empowerment, and creating inspiring conversations that help women build confidence, share experience and recognise their potential.
The Australian Power Talks iteration featured celebrated British model, actress and mental health advocate, Adwoa Aboah.
Aboah joins past Power Talks speakers such as Demi Moore, Emily Ratajkowski and Amelia Dimoldenberg, who have been part of the event across other major cities including Paris, Mumbai, Los Angeles and Warsaw.
Recognised as a 'Next Generation Leader' on the cover of Time magazine, Aboah is internationally renowned for a career spanning fashion, acting, advocacy and entrepreneurship.
She has appeared on the covers of and in editorials for Vogue, W, i-D, Dazed and ELLE, and fronted campaigns for Dior, Burberry and Calvin Klein to name a few.
Beyond fashion and entertainment, Aboah has become a leading global voice on young women’s mental health.
In 2015, she founded Gurls Talk, a nonprofit organisation providing early, accessible mental health support for girls and young women through evidence-based programs, trusted resources and community.
