Influencers tapped for Topshop campaign

In an effort to engage a local audience, Brit brand Topshop has called upon a number of Aussie influencers to help launch its summer campaign.

The #topshopbringstheparty promotion features social media sensations Zoe Cross, Pepa Mack, Yan Yan Chan and Sammy Robinson. Each influencer represents a Topshop look in the campaign, which include ‘pretty,’ ‘rock’, ‘urban’ and ‘beach’. With a little help from MAXMEDIALAB, short videos have been produced that reflect the lifestyle of each influencer, including an assortment of Topshop products associated with the aforementioned looks.

Topshop Australia marketing coordinator Lucy Quartermaine tells Mumbrella: “This is the first local campaign of this calibre that we’ve done, and we are super happy with it.”

The integrated campaign will focus mainly on social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram, and will also include Facebook Canvas advertising and product retargeting.

The products worn in the videos will also feature in window displays throughout Australian stores, with the possibility of a meet and greet with some of the influencers.
