Australian’s are increasingly opting for ‘made in Australia’ products, the offering is rapidly expanding and the big global brands are falling behind – so why is this?

Australian regulatory bodies are stringent in their expectations for brands. “Australian brands appeal to consumers because they are synonymous with high quality and strict regulatory requirements. Australian products go through rigorous checks and certifications so that consumers can be sure they are always investing in quality products.”
Trevisani confirms that this influences the buying habits of the nation who favour organic and natura. “Australians tend to be a lot more health conscious and inquisitive. Customers want to know what goes into the products that they purchase as well as having the opportunity to try a plethora of products.”
