Monday night saw Frank Apostolopoulos, creative director of Melbourne’s Biba salon group, crowned the 2014 Hair Expo Australian Hairdresser of the Year. Apostolopoulos beat three other nominees to win the award and take home the national trophy for the second year running.
The annual Hair Expo Awards presentation was held over a three-course dinner at The Star event centre and was hosted by James Mathison.
Apostolopoulos’ win capped a long list of industry awards, including New Zealand Hairdresser of the Year, Dharma’s Sara Allsop. Winners across all categories included:
