How colouring your hair can help the Australian bushland bloom

Colour your hair and help to bring our native bushland back to bloom this spring.

How? Each year Goldwell presents Color for a Cause, a month long fundraising initiative aligned with an Australian charity. And this September, Goldwell is proud to support national conservation organisation, Bush Heritage Australia.

The independent not-for-profit buys and manages land, and also partners with Aboriginal people, to conserve our landscapes and irreplaceable native species.

“It was an easy choice to align with Bush Heritage Australia this year, allowing both Goldwell and our partner salons to assist in the recovery of fire-affected areas and to help conserve the magnificent Australian landscape and its native inhabitants,” said Kao Salon Division Australia general manager, Justin Anderson.

Bush Heritage is working across fire-affected areas to bring the bush back to good health through habitat restoration and regeneration.

“Goldwell’s generous support is helping us tip the balance in favour of our native species following an unprecedented bushfire season,” said Bush Heritage Australia chief executive officer, Heather Campbell. “Our staff are on the ground doing the hard work to bring the bush back to good health.”

As a client, you can support the cause by booking in your balayage, baby-lights or root touch-up at a participating Goldwell salon. Your regrowth can help generate new growth!

To participate, simply book a colour appointment at a Goldwell salon and upload a selfie of your freshly coloured hair to Instagram tagging #goldwellcolorforacause and @goldwellaus.

Every valid entry equals one $20 donation made by Goldwell to Bush Heritage Australia (donation capped at $10,000; Instagram account must be public).
