John Frieda is delighted to announce Australian entrepreneur, author and media personality, Roxy Jacenko, as its new ambassador. The appointment comes following the success of the brand's recent Designed for Demanding Hair campaign which aims to turn, "demanding hair into hair that demands attention."
The twelve-month exclusive hair partnership will begin with the launch of John Frieda's new Violet Crush Intense Purple Shampoo, and will see Jacenko front the campaign across all platforms this September.
Of her appointment Jacenko said: "I am so excited about this partnership. My mother, Doreen, is an avid user of the brand and has used the Frizz Ease® range since it launched to market, so I have grown up with it in my family bathroom for as long as I can remember. I know that John Frieda™ is the only brand that has spent thirty years mastering frizz, volume and colour and is devoted to transforming hair demands. And with my demanding schedule, as well as my demanding hair concerns, I need a product range that’s up for the hard work.”
John Frieda general manager Heather Warnke agrees that Jacenko was the perfect person to take on the role of ambassador for the brand. "Here at John Frieda, we know the positive power that your best hair can give you. We are the experts and are here to crack your hard hair challenges so you can tackle the challenges of life. We wanted to team up with a trusted personality who is frank, authentic, genuine about results and as unexaggerated as we are,” she says.
