What is involved in a SoulCycle exercise class?

SoulCycle is a 45-minute full-body and mind indoor cycling workout. It’s a cardio dance party on a bike. Set to amazing playlists and lit by candlelight to eliminate self-consciousness, SoulCycle classes transport riders mentally and physically to the next level. We ride to the beat of the music and focus on the energy of the pack to push riders above and beyond their expectations.

What benefits do people see from doing a SoulCycle class?

Riders will burn calories, improve their aerobic fitness, and simultaneously tone their upper bodies using hand weights and by engaging the core. There is also a mental component of coaching - the goal is deeper than simply getting you to sweat - we help people find their personal strength and joy through exercise. SoulCycle’s instructors are like inspirational coaches encouraging riders to do their best.

What makes SoulCycle better than other fitness activities?

Riders burn between 500 to 700 calories in a 45-minute class.

Are you looking at bringing SoulCycle to Australia?

We have plans to open in London in 2015 and are looking at additional international cities for 2015 and beyond.
