Editor-in-chief of The Australian Women’s Weekly steps down

Kim Doherty has decided to step down as editor-in-chief of The Australian Women’s Weekly.

Kim informed Bauer Media general manager of women's lifestyle and entertainment, Jayne Ferguson, of her decision to resign to spend some time with her young family and look at other opportunities some time ago.

Kim says: “Being the editor-in-chief of The Australian Women’s Weekly is one of the great honours in Australian media – it’s been a joy and a privilege to steer this much-loved magazine. I’m proud of our quality journalism and the important stories we’ve told and thank everyone who has trusted us to share them. Special thanks to our readers and my amazing team.”

She will be finishing up with AWW today and Bauer have already started work on finding her replacement.
