Definitely skincare. Day to day, I prefer not to wear much makeup, although I think that’s because I’m still so terrible at applying it…

Right now I skip between a random assortment of products, including Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser, ’s , Eve Lom Cleanser and Intense Hydration Serum, La Roche-Posay Toleriane Dermallergo Fluid. I’ve used Olay Complete UV Protection Cream SPF15 for years (an affordable, light sunscreen I never forget to apply). I’ve also been taking the Advanced Nutrition Programme Skin Omegas+ supplements, which I love.

I’ve fully embraced mask mania too – right now, I love Dior’s Hydra Life Jelly Sleeping Mask, and Origins’ Drink Up 10 Minute Mask. I used that when I went on the world’s longest flight – 18 hours – and it saved my skin.

Do you have a signature scent, if so what is it, or do you like to mix it up - what are you loving right now?

Fragrance is my favourite because it’s accessible, and very simply about bringing joy to someone’s day, rather than necessarily ‘improving’ something. My signature is Stella McCartney STELLA; although I’m a fan of all her fragrances, and brand in general. I’ve also been wearing Grace Coddington’s fragrance with the cat-shaped topper, and Miu Miu Eau de Parfum (I clearly like rose scents).

Can you remember your first beauty purchase as a teenager – if so, what was it?

It’s very likely it was Impulse Vanilla Kisses. Other teen beauty favourites: glitter hair mascara, baby blue nail polish, Sun In (lightening hair spray) during summer holidays and Yves Saint Laurent Baby Doll.

What product have you re-purchased the most over the years?

Something practical and timeless, like ’s .

What has come across your desk recently that you’re looking forward to trying?

I adore Erdem, so very excited about everything in his Nars collaboration. And, it hasn’t come across my desk, but I’d love to try Glossier’s new Lash Slick mascara.
