Bauer launches special edition magazines

To mark the Year of the Rooster and Chinese New Year, Bauer titles Harper's BAZAAR, Gourmet Traveller and Belle have each published dedicated Chinese language issues. With the aim of providing indispensable guides to Australian fashion, property, food, wine and travel, the three publications specifically target Chinese visitors who are travelling to Oz over the New Year period.

Harper's BAZAAR will be celebrating its sixth year of being published in Chinese and welcomes support from Westpac and David Jones whose ambassador Jessica Gomes is featured on the cover.

Harper’s BAZAAR editor-in-chief Kellie Hush says of the edition: “The latest Harper’s BAZAAR Chinese-language edition is a beautifully crafted and deeply luxurious shopping guide. Editorially we strive to deliver content to inspire some serious shopping while we celebrate Chinese New Year in Australia.”

Gourmet Traveller’s 100-page special issue will feature a selection of the finest food, wine and travel experiences in the country, including guides to the Gold Coast and Great Ocean Road, a list of the best new restaurants in Australia, and late-night dining in Melbourne. It also provides coverage of urban wineries, the best new hotels in Sydney, and the nation’s sweetest chocolate shops.

Belle will see a stunning line-up of Australian and international homes featured, from luxurious apartments in Sydney and New York to the chic Parisian abode of legendary shoe designer Christian Louboutin. There will also be articles on the latest design trends and a guide to shopping for sofas.

Belle editor Tanya Buchanan says, “Australia is leading the world in cutting-edge interior design. We are very proud to publish the most beautiful and dynamic interiors and provide inspiration about what to buy to decorate your all-important house or apartment.”

The magazines will be distributed nationally from today ahead of Chinese New Year on January 28.
