Justine Cullen has taken to Instagram to announce she has departed her role as editor-in-chief of InStyle Australia.
While the future of the magazine is unclear, Cullen's post did confirm that the autumn print issue (on sale now) will be the last made by her team, as the title is "entering a new phase."
"But even the most magic chapters eventually reach their final page – and it's time for me to move on from the brand," she said.
"I'll miss making the version of InStyle we created – but I'm so deeply excited for what's coming next."
"While InStyle is entering a new phase, what we experienced with our print edition shows there's a real appetite for thoughtfully made mags."
Cullen is consulting and doing custom content work until her next step can be announced. She is also growing her Substack, Late Night Snacking and expanding it into the fashion and beauty space.
BD will continue to bring updates on this developing story.
