Dyson celebrated the launch of its most advanced hair dryer yet, the Supersonic r™, with an exclusive, luxury event held at The Eve Hotel in Redfern, Sydney.
The intimate evening gathered 21 of Australia’s top beauty and lifestyle influencers and media for an exclusive first look at the professional-grade hair tool, which is now available to Australian consumers.
Guests enjoyed a premium overnight stay at The Eve Hotel where they got to experience the new Dyson Supersonic r™ in their hotel rooms; hands-on styling demonstrations and product briefing of the Dyson Supersonic r™ at Saarde; and a curated dinner at Olympus Dining restaurant.
With the event’s content already trending across social platforms, the night proved to be a massive success, showcasing the Dyson Supersonic r™ as a breakthrough in at-home hair care.

Dyson Supersonic r™, which was originally developed for professionals, is now available for consumers for the first time, retailing for $799 AUD. This revolutionary tool represents the latest in Dyson’s cutting-edge engineering and ongoing commitment to hair science and performance.
It is on counter from May 1st, and available in two colourways: Jasper Plum (exclusive to Dyson.com.au) and Ceramic Pink.
The launch comes as Dyson recently appointed renowned Australian celebrity hairstylist, Gabrielle Roccuzzo as its newest styling ambassador for 2025.
Known for her work with national and global celebrities including Elle Ferguson, Sophie Monk, Larsa Pippen, and Sophia Stallone, Roccuzzo's creative vision and signature looks have graced red carpets, editorial shoots for the likes of Vogue Australia and Harper’s BAZAAR, and international fashion weeks.
