Absolute Essential launches world first diffuser

Everyone is pretty clued-up on the harmful effects plastic can have on our environment, but when it comes to buying it can be tricky to practice what you preach. The eco-friendly company have developed a one-of-a-kind sustainable diffuser made without plastic.

The company has conducted extensive research to bring a more eco-friendly and convenient product to the market. Absolute Essential’s founder and director, Dr Bo Hendgen says it’s “probably the only ultrasonic diffuser made without plastic in the world today”.

The Absolute Atmosphere ultrasonic diffuser is an eco-friendly ceramic unit that uses next to no heat to add extra therapeutic value. It also helps neutralise positively-charged free radicals in the atmosphere, which means the diffuser creates more neutral, clean air. As an added bonus, it is easier to clean than other diffusers, which helps keep organic oils pure.

Hendgen says the company has been directly involved in the design process of the diffuser, even travelling to the ethical Taiwan factory where the product was developed.

“Travelling to Taiwan was important to us - we wanted to be sure that the factory that could potentially make our Absolute Atmosphere product was safe and not exploiting children or its workers,” Hendgen says.

Absolute Atmopshere comes in two compact sizes - 80ml and 150ml. The diffuser is powered via a USB plug or connected to mainline power via a regular mobile phone adapter.
