Yesterday evening, Bauer Media held their annual update, informing clients of exciting projects in the pipeline including an in-house digital agency and beautyheaven, which we recently announced is launching in New Zealand.
Tanya Walshe, general manager of publishing and insights, announced the appointment of Erin Berryman as editor of beautyheaven. Currently, Erin is the beauty editor of Good Health Australia/New Zealand and editor of BEAUTYDIRECTORY and has previously worked in the beauty industry across marketing and PR. “Her passion for keeping up with health and beauty trends, clever integration of social platforms and sound commercial nous has helped to significantly raise the profile of Beauty Directory in New Zealand, and her multi-platform experience makes for a natural transition into this role,” said Walshe. Erin will commence her new role on the 2nd of July.
In line with the launch, brands and PR can also expect a more collaborative approach to beauty at Bauer. “With the launch of beautyheaven approaching late September, we’ve been working to streamline our beauty content creation processes to support the site and evolve our beauty storytelling across the existing Bauer portfolio,” wrote editorial director Shelley Ferguson, in an update to staff.
Once launched, beautyheaven will be Bauer's key beauty destination, replacing Now To Love's beauty pillar. Former health and beauty editor of Now To Love, Bronte Chaperon, will now be the digital editor across health and royals.
