With hot talent including Jennifer Hawkins, Jessica Hart and Kris Smith and top Australian designers including Nicola Finetti, Wayne Cooper and Yeojin Bae – there’s little surprise that Myer have turned to brands and Illamasqua to do the hair and make-up for the Autumn/Winter collection launch.
Internationally acclaimed hair stylist Kevin Murphy and UK based make-up artist Claire Lille from Illamasqua will lead their teams for the two day showcase taking place at Mural Hall, Myer in Melbourne on March 1 and 2.
”MYER plays such an important role in Australian fashion, housing the incredible fashion of Australia’s most talented designers,” says Murphy. We are very honoured to be part of this esteemed event and to celebrate Australia’s homegrown fashion talent.”
Lille adds, As head makeup artist for the show, I am thrilled that MYER have requested the vibrancy and eccentricity of Illamasqua to produce the looks for this years parade for the third year running.”
On March 2, Murphy and Lille will hold free in-store hair and make-up demonstrations revealing the latest hair and make-up catwalk trends at Mural Hall at 3.30pm. Complimentary tickets to the fashion parades and workshop are available at the Myer Melbourne lay-by counter on Level 6.
