Off the back of the news that Tracey will replace , Bauer Media and Air New Zealand have announced the appointment of Jacqui as the new Editor of .
Jacqui started her career as a magazine journalist and then moved into publicity, holding senior roles at TVNZ and MediaWorks, before editing New Idea magazine and was most recently the Head of Lifestyle Editorial and Digital at NZME. Jacqui will replace the current editor, Jenny Farrell, who is moving into a part time editor-at-large role on April 3rd.
Publisher Brendon Hill said, “Jenny has done a fantastic job as editor of KiaOra for the past thirteen years and leaves the magazine in the enviable position of having 316,000 influential readers per issue. On behalf of Bauer I’d like to thank Jenny for her passion and professionalism over her twenty one years with the company”.
On Jacqui’s appointment Hill commented, “Jacqui has a unique skill set having achieved at the highest level in publicity and editing, and we are delighted to have her join our team”

On Monday, Bauer New Zealand launched its latest digital venture . The new platform will be led by editor Bridget Jones, with Sinead Corcoran overseeing beauty and health content. Previously, Sinead held the role of Deputy Editor for Woman's Day online, which has now been replaced by the new site. The website will house content from New Zealand's leading women's magazine as well as exclusive content.
