The desk edit: What's landed on our desks this week

Welcome back to The Desk Edit – a feature here at BEAUTYDIRECTORY where the team review products hot off their desks.

Whether it be new launches or tried and true favourites, these products are worth sharing.

So, without further ado, let's see what new-in products we have been loving...

Nude by Nature Tinted Lip Butter – Aja's pick

Nude by Nature has been on fire recently, with some wonderful new products on counter. So, when the new collection landed on my desk I was very excited to give it a whirl, specifically the Tinted Lip Butter range (I love the shade Peach). The formula is designed to provide a subtle wash of colour with a natural shine, and as someone who prefers a lip balm to a lipstick, this offering is the perfect balance. Ultra-nourishing ingredients such as mango seed butter and shea butter leave my lips feeling so soft and smooth. Plus, added vitamin E helps protect against the harsh elements, making this the perfect lip product moving into winter. ($19.95 at Nude by Nature)

QV Ceramides Lotion – Sarah's pick

QV has always been a household staple for me – especially their lotions. I have sensitive skin that is prone to redness and QV's gentle and simple formulas provide a perfect balance. I use the Ceramide Lotion daily, in the morning under makeup and in the evening before bed. I find it seamlessly hydrates the skin and protects my skin barrier with a silky feel. I find the glycerin quite prominent in the formula as my skin looks very shiny once the product has been applied. ($13.99 at Chemist Warehouse)

Nature's Way Beauty Collagen Peptides + Vit C Gummies – Issy's pick

I am an absolute sucker for supplements, in particular anything that will assist with the ageing and skincare process. These gummies are an excellent way to consume as they have a fruit taste. After consistent intake for four weeks, the combination of the vitamin C and collagen has helped support skin elasticity, hydration and I have noticed how glowy my skin has been. The gummies are a great alternative to achieving the same benefits through a skincare product, and I look forward to taking them daily. ($25 at Woolworths)

1000HOUR® Instant Brows – Scarlett's pick

I’m someone who’s super lazy when it comes to doing my eyebrows a bit of gel and I’m out the door. So, I’m always on the lookout for a tinted brow gel that gets the job done quickly and easily. I recently tried 1000HOUR® Instant Brows and was genuinely impressed. It instantly tinted my brows, giving them a fuller, fluffy look, and best of all they stayed in place all day! It’s the perfect product to keep in your handbag for a quick touch-up, whether it’s a busy morning, a no-makeup day, or you’re just like me and can’t be bothered with a full brow routine. At an affordable $11.99, it’s a total steal – I’ll definitely be repurchasing. ($11.99 at 1000HOUR)

Burt's Bees After Sun Soother Lip Balm – Leila's pick

Let’s talk about something no one warns you about: sunburned lips. Yep, it's a thing – and if you’ve ever experienced it, you know it’s not cute. That’s why I was genuinely excited to try the Burt’s Bees Aloe After Sun Soother Lip Balm. I’ve always loved Burt’s Bees for their natural ingredients and no-fuss formulas, but this one hits different – especially if your lips have just taken a beating from the sun, wind, or both. The aloe is the hero here – super soothing and instantly cooling – and it also contains coconut oil and responsibly sourced beeswax to help lock in moisture and kickstart healing. It has a subtle scent that’s fresh and natural, not overpowering, which I really appreciate post-sun exposure when everything feels a bit sensitive. ($7.45 at Chemist Warehouse)
