Ego Pharmaceuticals announces exciting Elucent relaunch

In exciting beauty news, Ego Pharmaceuticals has relaunched its Melbourne-based skincare brand, Elucent.

Elucent's new Age Defying and Bright + Balanced ranges will be exclusively available to Chemist Warehouse from mid-March 2026.

Originally created 20 years ago, the brand's ethos stems from Dr. Jane Oppenheim’s long-standing commitment to creating highly efficacious yet accessible skincare solutions.

"I was frustrated by other products on the market delivering minimal active concentrations, I wanted to create formulations that genuinely work, using active ingredients at levels that make a visible difference," said Dr. Oppenheim.

The range combines clinically proven active ingredients with accessible pricing, meeting the growing demand from Australian consumers for skincare that delivers real, visible results.

Australian content creator, Jacquie Alexander used the Elucent Age Defying range in the lead up to her wedding.

"I introduced AHAs into my routine before the wedding because I wanted that smooth glow, and Elucent delivered," she shared.

"After using the range, I really noticed a difference. I had guests and even my makeup artist asking what I was using."

From your mid-twenties onwards, collagen production naturally begins to gradually decline, contributing to changes in firmness, texture and the appearance of fine lines.

Research from Minerva Research Labs, London found collagen levels peak between ages 25 - 34, before decreasing by approximately 25 per cent with each passing decade*.

Elucent’s formulations are designed to support the skin as it naturally evolves over time, with a focus on chemical exfoliation and brightening.

The Elucent range is structured around two focused systems:

Elucent Age Defying – Aimed towards consumers in their late twenties and beyond. Designed to visibly reduce fine lines and wrinkles while improving overall skin texture. The system offers a complete skincare regimen that supports the gradual building of skin tolerance to potent alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) through a considered graduation of product strength.

The hero product of the range is the Elucent Age Defying Resurfacing Serum with 16 per cent AHA, one of the strongest formulas available for over-the-counter exfoliation exclusive to Chemist Warehouse customers.

The range includes: Cleanser, Eye Cream, Serum, Day Moisturiser with SPF 30 and Night Cream.

Elucent Bright + Balanced – Designed for those in their twenties and beyond who are looking to maintain clarity, radiance and even tone. It focuses on helping to visibly reduce pigmentation, enhance luminosity and support overall skin balance. Powered by niacinamide, amla extract and vitamin C, the formulations work to brighten while supporting the skin barrier.

At the core of the relaunch is the introduction of a brand-new serum within the Elucent Bright + Balanced range, expanding the system’s ability to target uneven tone and loss of radiance with 10 per cent niacinamide.

The range includes: Cleanser, Serum, Day Cream and Night Cream.

The full range is exclusively available at Chemist Warehouse Australia-wide from mid-March.
