Most actresses spend a fortune to ensure they stay in tip-top shape - think organic fruit and vegetable orders, personal trainers, and on-hand nutritionists. One actress who is about to buck the trend is Home and Away actress Rhiannon Fish, who will be spending just $2 a day on food from May 22 to 26.
Fish is planning on restricting herself to a diet of one small bag of oats per day over the course of the five days as she partakes in the charity initiative Live Below The Line. Live Below The Line challenges participants to spend $2 a day for five days on their meals, the equivalent of living on the extreme poverty line. The campaign helps raise funds to break the poverty cycle.
On Thursday, Fish posted an image on Instagram of five small plastic packets of oats labelled day one, two, three, four and five. Alongside the image she wrote, I am living on less than $2 a day from the 22nd-26th of May. EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS!”
On top of her social media shout-out, the actress also wrote on her fundraising page: I am absolutely honoured to be a part of such a truly wonderful and relevant cause. In life, I think it is incredibly important to take the time to put things into perspective and never take anything for granted.”
