Reef on the hunt to find new 'face'

Sun tan oil brand Reef has announced it will searching for its new 'face' on social media. This winter will see the brand launch a competition via Instagram to find someone who will front a new campaign, as well as win a travel package valued at up to $12,500. 

Entrants will be tasked with taking a selfie, as well as sharing a video in which they detail what the essence of summer means to them. In the final phase of the competition, Reef will share video entires on its own Instagram page where followers will be asked to vote for their favourite entrant. 

Full details of the competition and dates are as follows:  

Entry Round 1: 4th June –25th June
Details:

  • Must follow Reef on Instagram @reefoil
  • Submit a current ’real’ static “selfie” and #faceofreef
  • 50 x entrants will be selected

Entry Round 2: 16th July –30th July
Details:

  • 50 x entrants to submit a video on what the ’Essence of Summer’ means and post on their Instagram
  • account with #faceofreef
  • 10 x entrants will be selected

Entry Round 3: 27th August –10th September
Details:

  • 10 x entrant videos to be posted on Reef’s Instagram where users will engage (vote and comment) on their favourite entrants
  • 10th September- 24th September: 1 x winner announced
  • Along with winning the title of the Face of Reef, the winner will also receive a travel package valued at up to $12,500.

Winner's Prize:

  • 6 night ”Australian Summer Break” visiting the likes of Sydney, Byron Bay and Airlie Beach for the winner and a friend
