Kerasilk teams up with fashion brand Nagnata

Kerasilk ambassador, Chris Hunter of Willomina lent his creative expertise to style the hair for Nagnata’s Movement 19 – Resort Collection, shot on location in the stunning coastal setting of Yamba, Northern New South Wales.

Movement 19 is a reflection of summers past, a nostalgic nod to our younger selves, memories of barefoot evenings, salt-kissed skin and naïve romance. The collection blends fluid, dance driven forms with sheer knits and ruched textures, off-set by low slung denim and sarong style draping, evoking a sensual free-spirited femininity.

Hunter’s signature approach emphasised natural texture and fluidity, complementing the collection’s modern silhouettes and the relaxed surfside backdrop.

"The hair is innocent, natural and nostalgic," said Hunter.

"Our model, Anna had incredible hair, we dialled up the texture for that lived in curl that comes after a summer by the beach."

"Kerasilk Curl Balm was my go-to, it’s lightweight so hair still has lots of movement and body minus the frizz," he explained.

Hunter prepped the hair with Kerasilk Flat Itron Spray and Kerasilk Curl Balm then used a diffuser to smooth out the curl. He then worked the Kerasilk Finishing Cream through the model’s hair from mid lengths to ends. This was reapplied regularly throughout the shoot. Finished with a light spritz of Kerasilk Multi-Purpose Hair Spray.

Kerasilk creates touchable, moveable styles, powered by bio-mimetic silk that are all vegan, delivering high-performance results for products that are both sustainable and effective.
