All eyes were on Jessica Gomes at David Jones’ spring/summer 2013 collection launch last night, with the model taking over the headline duties from Miranda Kerr on the catwalk for the first time. And Gomes revelled in the limelight, impressing guests that included the likes of Megan Gale, Gai Waterhouse and Charlotte Dawson.
Describing the evening’s styling as Cap D’Antibes and the Italian Riviera, "where high fashion meets the clearest of blue skies followed by hot, steamy and decadent summer nights", David Jones called on and to help complete the look.

The first look saw the girls given a dark winged eye using the Painting Liner in Black, embellished with a dash of gold on the lid with the Painting Liner in Gold to highlight the eyes under lights. Cheeks were given a soft sheer glow with the Glow On Medium Bronze, while lips were matte and nude - using the Rouge Unlimited Supreme Matte BG930 lipstick.
The second look was youthful and fun, with elegant lashes using the Slant Black False Eyelashes and glossy lips using the Gloss Unlimited BR10S. Eyelids had a gold finish, thanks to the Pressed Eye Shadow Soft Gold ME335.
Similar to the make-up, hair had two looks for the evening - with Terri Robertson-Kirkwood from Robertson Kirkwood salons leading the team of stylists.
The first hair look for the evening was the Modern French Roll. Aveda products used to get this style were the Damage Remedy Daily Relief, Pure Abundance Style Prep, Phomollient Styling Foam, Light Elements Smoothing Fluid and Air Control.
The second hair look was Poolside Chic, with Aveda using its Phomollient Styling Foam and Air Control to perfect the style.
