Goldwell Kerasilk Fixing Effect Hairspray - Aja

What we think: I’ve always been notorious for not doing much with my hair – a slicked back bun is my daily go-to. However, in an attempt to make more of an effort, I have been trying to curl and style my hair at least once a week, so I went on the hunt for the perfect hairspray. This addition from Goldwell Kerasilk has been the winner for me. It helps keep my waves in place, but without any of the nasty crunching or stiff feeling that you associate with a hairspray. This offering leaves my hair soft to the touch but keeps my style lasting all day (and beyond) which deserves an A+ from me.

ghd rise - Ashley

What we think: Lovers of volume rejoice! ghd has the perfect remedy to create that selfie-worthy bounce that you dream of. I was lucky enough to be able to trial the ghd rise, in combination with the body goals total volume foam. I applied a good helping of the heat-protecting foam, which also offers 24 hours hold, blast dried my hair and got to work with the ghd rise. The result: I was able to re-create the most flawless bouncy blow-dry effect, as the rounded design of the hot brush allowed me full control, as well as the ability to style my hair from the roots. Finish with the ghd perfect ending final fix hairspray and you have a full hair remedy to tame your mane!

Manicare Scented Sleep Turban - Nicola

What we think: I was really surprised at the difference the Manicare Scented Sleep Turban made to my hair. I had given myself a blow-dry the morning before using the turban and was pleasantly surprised when I woke up the next day with my blow-dry perfectly preserved. The turban left my hair feeling silky soft and frizz-free. It stayed on all night and wasn’t uncomfortable or too tight. It also had the softest lavender scent which was super calming and pleasant to fall asleep to. I have loved continuing to use the turban and have found it has always had a lovely effect on my hair, wet dry and styled! I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone who loves to style their hair once and have it maintained through the week, as well as to increase the silkiness of your hair.

Lady Jayne Salon Pro Paddle Brush - Tiarne

What we think: This brush has been a life saver for me. I am well overdue for a haircut and have been noticing a lot of annoying knots as a result. My hair is super thick and long, but this brush wastes no time at all gently detangling whatever mess my hair has gotten itself into. You can use it with either wet or dry hair as well – both of which deliver outstanding results. I also use it to help tame my hair while blow-drying and it leaves behind a sleek, smooth finish with very little frizz. It has a flexible brush head that contours to the shape of your scalp for extra comfort and effortless detangling, as well as an easy to grip handle that doesn’t get slippery like other handles when wet.

The Body Shop Ginger Scalp Care Shampoo & Conditioner - Issy R

What we think: If you're a ginger lover, this is the range for you! Formulated with ginger essential oil, this range helps treat a dry and flaky scalp. After a few washes, my scalp is less irritated, and the dryness has cleared up and my scalp feels moisturised. This range does not strip your scalp and has repaired my locks all over. My partner has even commented on how good my hair has smelt of recent.

GROW Longer Stronger Anti-Breakage Hair Mask - Emily

What we think: The Grow Anti Breakage Hair Mask was an absolute saviour for my hair. I have coloured my hair for as long as I can remember, and my hair is fairly damaged, so having a mask in my routine is ideal. The mask left my hair feeling beautifully soft and nourished, with an event the day after using the mask it was shining and bouncy. What was all want. I love that the mask is sulfate, silicon and paraben-free, with lime, avocado, orange peel and sesame seed oil, it really felt like I was feeding my hair the right stuff. The smell is amazing and left my hair wafting a glorious scent up until the next day. I love this product and highly recommend it for anyone that thinks their hair needs a little TLC.

John Frieda Frizz Ease® Extra Strength Serum - Alicia

What we think: This is my new morning saviour! I have been using this after a blow-dry to ensure it limits frizz. Unlike other anti-frizz products, it does not dry your hair out and leaves it hydrated after use and gives it a glossy finish. The blend of silicones I think really helps with locking in the moisture, especially as my hair is regularly coloured, so needs anything that is going to help with stopping dry ends.

De Lorenzo Prescriptive Solutions Moisture Balance Shampoo & Conditioner - Rachel

What we think: De Lorenzo Prescriptive Solutions Moisture Balance Shampoo & Conditioner is my new favourite hair duo. For someone with coloured hair and washes it only once to twice a week, these products work impressively well in cleansing my hair and scalp from oils and dry shampoo, in a gentle yet effective way. As well as making my hair feel fresh and clean, both the shampoo and conditioner leave my hair feeling insanely soft, silky and bouncy once dried. I love the ingredients containing Cacay Oil, Kakadu Plum, Wattle Seed and Desert Lime, knowing my scalp and strands are keeping healthy and strong. I also appreciate the simple packaging and the subtle scent - just two amazing products that lets the results sing.

Pantene Pro-V Nutrient Blends Sulphate-free ‘Illuminating Colour Care with Jojoba Oil’ Shampoo & Conditioner - Tamara

What we think: I colour my hair regularly and blow-dry my hair daily, so damage is a regular part of my hair journey. Pantene has definitely stepped it up with this shampoo and conditioner. It is made with the Pro-V formula and contains jojoba oil along with other antioxidants which I can only assume is the reason my hair feels so nourished after using it. I can see much more shine and it feels like it is much softer and in better condition. I love a good fragrance too, and this one is floral and light and lingers which is lovely.

Herbal Essences bio:renew Argan Oil of Morocco Repair Shampoo & Conditioner - Tiarne

What we think: This duo is super nourishing and leaves my hair feeling clean, silky and most importantly, tamed! The shampoo foams up easily, so you don’t have to use a lot of product to get the job done. The conditioner is great for detangling knots and adding a bit of shine. Both products also smell amazing, which is something I always look for in a shampoo and conditioner. Best of all, the ingredients are natural and contain none of the nasties you find in a lot of other hair products. I would definitely recommend this line to anyone looking to revive their hair.
