With fears increasing around heavy metal in makeup – especially lipsticks – it’s more vital than ever to search out those formulas that don’t contain any nasty chemicals. It can be hard to come across lip products that are both natural and look and feel great, but this new collection of lipsticks promises to tick all the boxes.
Australia’s number one mineral makeup brand Nude by Nature is launching a 100% natural lip collection free from carmine, petroleum waxes, parabens, silicones, coal tar dyes or any synthetics – which is amazing as it’s common for lipsticks to contain all of these harsh chemicals, and more.
The colour-rich Moisture Shine Lipsticks have a silky smooth feel, deliver luminous shine and provide antioxidant defence. The creamy texture and lightweight moisturising formula is down to the natural ingredients, including vitamin E, native Australian Kakadu plum, shea butter and jojoba oil.
But it doesn’t just stop there. The brand is also launching a non-sticky Moisture Infusion Lipgloss enriched with active natural ingredients including nourishing shea butter, vitamin E and Australian Kakadu plum. The lip gloss contains unique moisturising microspheres to help repair and plump the lips for a natural yet voluminous look.
Finally, the Defining Lip Pencil finishes off the collection nicely. The long-lasting, highly-pigmented formula is composed of native Australian macadamia oil, vitamin E, shea butter and meadowfoam seed oil for smoothness.
The non-toxic beauty movement is something we should all be coming on board with in light of the claims about potentially harmful makeup.
