If you could only take five products (make-up/hair/skin/fragrance) away with you on holiday, what would they be?

I really go for super subtle/paired back when on holidays, I’ve just been on a mini break and couldn’t live without these beauties:

Osmosis Jet Set Normal to Ageing Skin Kit, has everything you need for face care.

Bobbi Brown Beauty Balm BB Cream with SPF 30+ - a foundation with good spf.

Chantecaille Liquid Lumiére Cheek Illuminator in Luster.  A lightweight sheer highlighting fluid. So subtle, so beautiful. I also use it on my eyes as a subtle shadow..

Dior Lip Glow Balm in pink.  A sheer balm that enhances your natural lip colour while moisturizing and protecting lips.

Nourish Daily Leave-in Conditioner because my hair gets so dry and unmanageable with salt, chlorine and sun. Nourish is triple conditioning, lightweight and most importantly takes out the ‘holiday frizz’.

What does your morning and evening skincare regimen comprise?

I ALWAYS use good active products on my face.  I’m experimenting at the moment as I’m hunting for the very best  Vitamin A and C serum, I know that’s the most important element as I age.

For daytime I cleanse with Bare Minerals Oil obsessed cleanser, I think I will use it forever. Then always a serum which at the moment is Good Genes Lactic Acid treatment.  My new face moisturiser is Cha Ling Fluid cream which is only sold in Paris and Hong Kong so recently I recently grabbed it when I was travelling, it’s a beautiful formula with Pu’Er tea leaves.

For night I’m obsessed with oils.  After cleansing I always use a beautiful face oil.  A favourite has been the Luna Sleeping Night Oil by Sunday Riley, I’m onto my third bottle.

Beauty-wise, where do you go to treat yourself?

My beauty treats are buying elixirs and supplements that I have with smoothies each day.  My long term favourite is The Super Elixir by Welleco, I’m never without it.

What inspired you to create Beauty Dust Co.?

It started as a passion for one or two key products that I knew the market needed after co-owning blow dry bars.  I have a background in product development and love beautiful things.  Once we were on the journey there were certain categories that we wanted to tick off to evolve into a meaningful brand.  We now have 25 sku’s and growing both product wise and distribution.  Early next year we launch into our first US retail chain which is so rewarding.

What’s been your biggest challenge in business to date?

I’ve got three beautiful kids so most definitely juggling their needs with business needs.  I’m travelling a lot and hate to leave them but ‘needs must’ right now whilst we keep building our brand.
